AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BLUEGRASS FIRE EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, INC. IN THE'AMOUNT OF $2,900.00,' FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF 2,000
FEET OF FIRE HOSE TO BE USED BY THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT,..AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: 17
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah_accept.the bid of
Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company, Inc. in the amount of $2,900.00, for
sale to the City of 2,000 feet of fire hose for use by the Fire
Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Munici-
pal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 12, 1988, and
as contained in the bid of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company, Inc. dated
May 4, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a con-
tract with Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company, Inc., for sale to the City
of the fire hose authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid..
SECTION 3. The City Manager or the Department Director shall
assign an account number to this purchase.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary
thereof.
