ORDINANCE NO. 88-6-4067
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ASPHALT PAVING COMPANY IN
THE AMOUNT OF $175,900.,00 FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF FOUR FLOOD GATES, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of
Asphalt Paving Company in the amount.of $175,900.0,O.for the replacement
of four flood gates, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by a
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on May 10, 1988,
and as contained in the bid of_Asphalt Paving Company,.dated May 19,
1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with Asphalt Paving Company for flood gate replacements,
authorized in Section 1, above, according to the specifications, bid
proprosal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The account number for this purchase shall be
determined by the City Manager or the Department Director.
SECTION 4. This.ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
