AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MITCHELL MACHINE SHOP FOR
THE PURCHASE OF -STANDARD FRONT END LOADING REFUSE CONTAINERS AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the'bid of
Mitchell Machine Shop for the purchase of (approximately fifty)
standard front loading refuse containers at the following prices:
2 -yd. containers
$259.00
each
4 -yd containers
$335.00
each
6 -yd containers
$449.00
each
8 -yd containers
$507.00
each;
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed
by the Board of Commissioners of March 22, 1988, and as contained in
the bid of Mitchell Machine Shop, dated April 14, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with Mitchell.Machine Shop for -sale to the City of -refuse
containers as authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and -all contract documents.heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The expenditure for said containers shall be
charged to Account No. 10-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
