AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,212.56 WITH MIDSTATES

`� CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR PAYMENT FOR ELECTRICAL WORK IN CITY HALL
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with Midstates
Construction Company for renovations to City Hall; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required in order to have
additional diffusers and wiring in the City Hall lighting system.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
enter into Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $8,212.56 with Midstates
Construction Company for additional diffusers and wiring in the City
Hall lighting system. This Change Order is attached hereto and made a
part hereof as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The.amount of.the contract with Midstates
1 Construction Company is amended to $56,550.56.
SECTION 3. The-KML Pooled Lease Fund shall be charged with
the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 4. In order to expedite payment of this amount, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
