ORDINANCE NO. 88-4-4046
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON
GEORGE STREET (UNDEVELOPED) AND BETWEEN SOUTH 4TH AND 5TH STREETS, AND
AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING 0RDINANCE-1976 SOFAS TO EFFECT SUCH RE-
ZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning
Commission on April 4, 1988, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE
FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED RE--
ZONING

ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON GEORGE STREET (UNDEVELOPED) AND BETWEEN
SOUTH 4TH AND 5TH STREETS", be approved as the final report of said
Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map
amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, de-
clared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of
Paducah.

SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following
property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density
Residential Zone, to M-2, Heavy Industrial Zone:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the property herewith
described, the southwest corner of the intersection of George
Street and South 4th Street; thence south with the west right
of way line of South 4th Street, 134.7 feet to the north line
of an alley; thence at right angles and in a westerly
direction with the north line of said alley, 173.3 feet to a
point; thence at right angles and in a northerly direction
132.7 feet to the south right of way line of George Street;
thence at right angles in an easterly direction with the
south line of George Street 173.3 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of
this ordinance shall. be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid
for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph
or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision
hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each
and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary
thereof.
