ORDINANCE NO. 88-4-4044
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $3,027.66, FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF 138 NEW ITT TOUCHTONE
TELEPHONE SETS FOR USE BY VARIOUS CITY DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of
Business Communications in the amount of $3,027..66 forthe purchase and
installation of 138 new ITT touchtone telephone sets to be used by
various City departments, said bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
a Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 23,
1988, and as contained in the bid of Business Communications dated
March 15, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a
contract with Business Communications for sale to the City of 138 new
ITT touchtone telephone sets for various City departments, Authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and
all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said telephones shall be
charged to Account No. 10-500-150-523.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
