AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN UNDEVELOPED
ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH SIXTH AND SOUTH SEVENTH STREETS AND BETWEEN
CLARK AND ADAMS STREETS

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize
the closing of an undeveloped alley located between South Sixth and
South Seventh Streets and between Clark and Adams Streets, and more
particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point on Clark Street, said point being 165.5
feet west of South 6th Street; thence in a southerly
direction along the rear property line of McCracken County
Fiscal Court and the rear property line of Hardy, Terrell,
Boswell, Pancake and Sims, a distance of 423 feet to a point
in Adams Street; said point being 165.5 feet west of South
6th Street; thence in a westerly direction a distance of 15
feet to a point; thence in a northerly direction a distance
of 423 feet to a point in Clark Street; said point being 165
feet east of South 7th Street; thence in an easterly
direction a distance of 15 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and -. ✓
directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action
in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of
the alley described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary
thereof.
