ORDINANCE NO. 88-4-4.040
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MEMO OF
\ UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AMERICAN FEDERATION OF
V STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO, LOCAL 1586
WHEREAS, the City and Union entered into a contract
concerning wage.rates.and other conditions of employment -on the 31st
day of March, 1986; and
-WHEREAS, the City and Union entered .into an Amendment of
Contract effective the 1st day of April, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City and Union have agreed on principles which
are not to be part of the contractual agreement"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a.
Memo of Understandingbetween :the City of'Paducah 'And, -American
Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO, Local
1586. Said Memo of_Understanding-,is attached hereto and incorporated
by reference. herein as if set,ou.t in full.,:._ _
SECTION Z. In order -to, expedite the signing of -this
contract, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be effective with one reading.
