ORDINANCE NO. 88-4-4039
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, \V
COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES AFL-CIO, .LOCAL 1586
WHEREAS, on March 31, 1986, the City and the Union entered
into a contract concerning wage rates and other conditions of
employment; and
WHEREAS, the duration of said contract is from April 1, 1986,
through March 31, 19.88; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Union entered into an Amendment to
Contract dated the 31st day of August, 1987; and

WHEREAS the City and the Union mutually agree to amend said
BE IT'ORDAINED BY.THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an
Amendment to Contract between the City.of Paducah and American Federa-
tion of State, County and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO, Local 1586. Said
contract is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein as if
set out in full.
SECTION 2. In order to expedite the signing of this con-
tract, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be effective with one reading.
