ORDINANCE NO. 88-9-4113
AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTION 12-40, "FIREFIGHTER
CANDIDATE RECRUITMENT QUALIFICATIONS AND SELECTION PROCE-
DURES FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT", OF THE CODE
OF ORDIANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Paducah desires to adopt procedures for the Fire De-
partment which stipulate minimum qualifications of appli-
cants and describe testing and selection procedures.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 12-40, Firefighter
Candidate Recruitment Qualifications and Selection Proce-
dures for'the City of; Paducah Fire Department, is hereby
created to read as follows:
"The Firefighter;Candidate Recruitment
Qualifications and Selection Procedure
Manual, a copy of which is on file with the
City Clerk, shall be a part of this Code to
the same effect as if set out in full here-
in."

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
a title and a certified summary thereof.
