ORDINANCE NO. 88-9-4122
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILSON
CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,155.55 FOR ONE
NEW 1989 CHEVROLET CAPRICE 4 -DOOR SEDAN, FOR SALE TO THE
CITY FOR USE BY THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: \11
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. in the amount of
$12,155.55 for one new 1989 Chevrolet Caprice 4 -door sedan
to be used by the Engineering Department, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on August 9, 1988, and
as contained in the bid of Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc.
of August 25, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to

execute a --contract with Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, -Inc. for
sale to the City of one new -=1989 Chevrolet Caprice 4 -door
sedan, authorized in Section,l above, according to the -
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and' -incorporated in the bid'.
SECTION 3. The account number for this expendi-
ture shall be at the discretion of the City Manager or the
Department Director.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
