ORDINANCE NO 88-10-4119
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WESTEND GARDEN
CENTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,632.00 FOR SEEDING FOR CITY
LANDFILL -1988, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Westend Garden Center in the amount of $39,632.00 for
seeding for city landfill, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized.by a Municipal Order passed by the
Board of Commissioners on September 13, 1988, and as con-
tained in the bid of Westend Garden Center, dated September
22, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Westend Garden Center for seeding
for landfill, authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. l
SECTION 3. The account number for this purchase
shall be determined by the City Manager or the Department
Director.
SECTION 4. In order to comply with state
regulations, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance will become effective with one reading.
