ORDINANCE NO. 88-11-4166
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS
EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM STAR -IRON
TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,008.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME �+
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-
competitive negotiation under Section 26-21 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, Star -iron Technology Corporation is the
sole supplier of this type of equipment.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City Treasurer be authorized
to pay to Star -iron Technology Corporation the sum of
$8.008.00 for the following items for use by the Police
Department:
1. One MK428/170 night vision
system w/various attach-
ments $8,008.00
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 00-1325-0..
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
