ORDINANCE NO. 88-11-4165
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS
EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM AUDIO INTELLIGENCE
\1 DEVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,940.50, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME I D
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made as a non-
competitive negotiation under Section 26-21 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, Audio Intelligence Devices is the sole
supplier of this type of equipment.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City Treasurer be authorized
to pay to Audio Intelligence Devices the sum of $29,940.50
for the following items for use by the Police Department:
1. One BirdDog Tracking System
Model 360 $13,500.00
2. One Mini -beeper transmitter 1,450.00
3. One Unitel 210 Receiving Unit 4,865.00
4. Antenna 3dB magnetic mount for
Unitel receiver 97.00
5. Two Flat Pack Transmitters,
Model TX -728 2,190.00
6. Two BXR-2202 Two watt repeaters 7,590.00
7.
Two
Antennas 3dB for BXR repeaters

8.
One
microphone 48" cable

9.
One
body transmitter 613" antenna

Total
$29,940.50
SECTION 2. This expenditure -shall be charged to
Account No. 00-1325-0.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
