ORDINANCE NO. 88-11-4150
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE KENTUCKY
JUSTICE CABINET IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,250.00 FOR COMPUTER
AIDED DISPATCH SYSTEM (SOFTWARE)
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Justice Cabinet, Division of
Grants Management, has approved a grant to the City of
Paducah in the amount of $10,250.00 to be matched by contri-
butions from the City of Paducah in the amount of $10,250.00
for computer aided dispatch system software; and
WHEREAS, the software is available from Hedden
Enterprise Ltd., local representative of Radio Shack, Forth
Worth, Texas, under State Contract No. 0880715; and
WHEREAS, the specifications were approved by the
Justice Cabinet as part of the grant application procedure.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts
Grant No. 4384 (Software) from the Kentucky Justice Cabinet,
Division of Grant Management, for the computer aided dis-
patch system software in the amount of $10,250.00, and
authorizes the Mayor to sign any and all papers necessary to
accept the grant award.
SECTION 2. The Emergency Communications Super-
visor is authorized to enter into a contract with Hedden
Enterprises Ltd. to purchase a Main server Tandy 4000LX with
related software as set forth in a proposal dated September
12, 1988.
SECTION 3. All expenditures under this ordinance
shall be charged to Account No. 25-500-215-523.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
