ORDINANCE NO. 88-11-4147
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO PAY
THE SUM OF $6,545.04 TO THOMPSON CULVERT COMPANY FOR SLUICE
GATE AND STEEL DRAINAGE PIPE FOR LANDFILL
WHEREAS, it is necessary to purchase this equip-
ment without utilizing the bidding procedure since the City
of Paducah must maintain the landfill under State mandate.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1.
That the City Treasurer is authorized
to pay to Thompson Culvert Company the sum of $6,545.04 for
sluice gate and steel drainage pipe for the landfill.
SECTION 2. That Account No. 10-500-425-710 shall
be charged with the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 3. In order to maintain the landfill
under State mandate, an emergency is hereby declared to
�} exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one
