ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4144
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $178.30 WITH
HANNIN ROOFING & SHEET METAL, INC. FOR RE -ROOFING AT SEWAGE
TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Hannin Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. for re -roofing two
digesters at the Sewage Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$664.00 was approved on May 10; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required in order
to pay for additional labor costs incurred by unforeseen
delays in emptying digester contents .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 2 in the amount of
$178.30 with Hannin Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. for
additional labor costs incurred by unforeseen delays in
emptying digester contents. This Change Order is attached
hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Hannin Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. is amended to $18,466.30
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
