HomeMy WebLinkAbout88-10-4141450 ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4141 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,806.63 WITH ASPHALT PAVING, INC. FOR FLOODGATE REPLACEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. floodgate replacement project; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $28,760.75 was approved on September 27, 1988; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required in order to pay for additional costs for repairs to walls in tunnels No. 2 and 3, and to infiltrate water in tunnel No. 2. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $8,806.63 with Asphalt Paving, Inc. for repairs to walls in tunnels No. 2 and 3, and to infiltrate water in tunnel No. 2. This Change Order is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set out in full. SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with Asphalt Paving, Inc. is amended to $213,467.38. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. GERRY B.
