ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4140
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ROYAL OAKS
CHEVROLET-CADILLAC, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $64,082.26 FOR SIX
(6) NEW 1989'CHEVROLET 1/2 TON PICKUP TRUCKS, FOR SALE TO
THE CITY FOR USE BY VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Royal Oaks Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. in the amount of
$64,082.26 for six (6) new 1989 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup
trucks, for sale to the City for use by various departments,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Municipal order passed by the Board of Commissioners on
August 23, 1988, and as contained in the bid of Royal Oaks
Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. of September 26, 1988.
SECTION 2.
That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Royal Oaks Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc.
for the purchase of six (6) new 1989 pickup trucks, author-
ized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved
and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The account numbers for this expendi-
ture shall be assigned as follows: Parks Department Account
No. 10-500-610-514 in the amount of $20,475.62; Street
Department Account No. 10-500-330-514 in the amount of
$21,803.32; and Refuse Department Account No. 10-500-420-514
in the amount of $21,803.32.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
