ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4139
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PAUL DUNCAN
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $24,940.00 FOR
RENOVATIONS TO THE MARKET HOUSE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Paul Duncan Construction Company in the amount of
$24,940.00 for renovations to the Market House, said bid
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal
Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 23,
1988, and as contained in the bid of Paul Duncan
Construction Company of October 5, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Paul Duncan Construction Company for
renovations to the Market House, authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3.
The account number for this expendi-
ture shall be at the discretion of the City Manager or the
Department Director.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
