ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4138
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,494.25 FOR ONE NEW 1989 DODGE 3/4
TON PICKUP TRUCK, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE ANIMAL
WARDEN, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. in the amount of $11,494.25 for
one new Dodge 3/4 ton pickup truck, for sale to the City for
use by the animal warden, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the
Board of Commissioners on August 23, 1988, and as contained
in the bid of Allan Rhodes, Inc. of September 26, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes, Inc. for the purchase
_r of one new 1989 Dodge 3/4 ton pickup truck, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 10-500-230-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
