ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4136
AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE SEWER SERVICE CHARGES FOR
SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 2 OF McCRACKEN COUNTY
WHEREAS, on December 12, 1986, the City of Paducah
and Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken County entered
into a Sewer Service Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Section D of said Agreement provides that
the City certify to the District in writing the new treat-
ment charge for the upcoming year prior to November 1 of
each year; and
WHEREAS, The City's engineers have certified
pursuant to said contract the City's treatment charge.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1. Pursuant to an agreement entered into
on the 12th day of December, 1986, between the City of
Paducah and Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken County,
the City of Paducah hereby establishes its treatment charge
to be effective January 1, 1989, at a rate of $.1581 per
1,000 gallons of total gallons discharged into the City's
treatment facilities.
SECTION 2. Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken
County shall be charged the treatment charge times a 1.40
surcharge, or $.2214 per 1,000 gallons discharged into the
City's treatment facilities.
SECTION 3. In order to certify the rates to
Sewage Sanitation District No. 2 of McCracken County prior
to November 1, 1988, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be effective upon one reading
and publication by summary.
