ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4129
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAHL'S EXCAVAT-
ING & UNDERGROUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $2.25 PER CUBIC YARD FOR
DAILY EARTH COVER AT THE PADUCAH-MCCRACKEN COUNTY LANDFILL,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
y� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Wahl's Excavating & Underground in the amount of
$2.25 per cubic yard for daily earth cover at the Paducah -
McCracken County Landfill, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for
bids as was authorized by the Board of Commissioners on
September 13, 1988, and as contained in the bid of Wahl's
Excavating & Underground, dated September 23, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Wahl's Excavating & Underground for
earth cover as authorized in Section 1 above, according to
J�l the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The account number for this purchase
shall be determined by the City Manager or the Department
Director.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon publication of
title and a certified summary thereof.
