ORDINANCE NO. 88-10-4127
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WHAYNE SUPPLY
COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,380.78 FOR REPAIRS TO D7G DOZER �
FOR THE LANDFILL, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the
bid of Whayne Supply Company in the amount of $8,380.78 for
repairs to D7G dozer for the landfill, said bid being in
substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order
passed by the Board of Commissioners on September 27, 1988,
and as contained in the bid of Whayne Supply Company of
October 7, 1988.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to
execute a contract with Whayne Supply Company for repairs to
landfill dozer, authorized in Section 1 above, according to
the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The account number for this expendi-
ture shall be determined by the City Manager or the Depart-
ment Director.
SECTION 4. In order to comply with state re-
quirements for the landfill, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance shall become effective with one
reading.
