ORDINANCE NO. 88-1-4008
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF VANGUARD CONTRACTORS, INC.
IN THE AMOUNTS OF $241,750.00 AND $20,995.00, AND MIDSTATES
CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,338.00, FOR MISCELLANEOUS
RENOVATIONS TO CITY HALL, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CONTRACTS FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1, That the City of Paducah accept the bids of
Vanguard Contractors, Inc. in the amounts of $241,750.00 and
$20,995.00, and Midstates Construction, Inc. in the amount of
$48,338.00.00, for miscellaneous renovations to City Hall, as contained
in the bids of Vanguard Contractors, Inc. and Midstates Construction,
Inc. of December 15, 1987.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute contracts
with Vanguard Contractors, Inc. and Midstates Construction, Inc., for
miscellaneous renovations to City Hall, authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bids.
SECTION 3. The expenditures for said improvements shall be
charged to the KML Lease Pool Account, or accounts assigned at the
discretion of the City Manager.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days
and will become effective upon publication of title and a certified
summary thereof.
