AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MAGIC ICE USA INC., FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF A SEASONAL ICE SKATING RINK TO BE LOCATED IN THE
DOWNTOWN AREA, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Magic Ice USA Inc., for the
installation of a seasonal ice skating rink to be located in the downtown area in the total amount
of $92,500.00 said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement
for bids, and as contained in the bid of Magic Ice USA, Inc., dated June 2, 2008.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Magic
Ice USA, Inc., for installation of ice skating rink, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to project account PA0073.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
