AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF KENTUCKY
LEAGUE OF CITIES FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION, LIABILITY
INSURANCE, AND PROPERTY INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City accepts the proposal of Kentucky League of Cities
in the total amount of $968,823.00 for Workers' Compensation, Liability Insurance, and
Property Insurance Coverage for the City of Paducah for Fiscal Year ending June 30,
2009, for the following policies:
Workers' Compensation 1 $331,239.00
Property Insurance 1$110,558.00
Liability Insurance 1 $527,026.00
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Kentucky League of Cities for services authorized in Section 1 above.

SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Insurance Fund

become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
