HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-7-5171574 ORDINANCE #94-11-61T ORDINANCE APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT TO INTERLOCAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY FOR 911 EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME WHEREAS, on or about July 15, 1991, the City of Paducah and C/1" McCracken County, Kentucky, entered into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for providing 911 emergency services to city and county residents, all as approved by the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Kentucky; WHEREAS, because of requirements by the Kentucky State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation it is necessary to amend the agreement so that certain telecommunication terminals are under the management and control of a board whose membership is comprised of a majority of law enforcement members; and BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION I. The City of Paducah hereby approves the First Amendment to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Paducah and McCracken County, Kentucky, for 911 emergency communications service and does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute same. The aforesaid first amendment is attached hereto and incorproated refererence as if fully set out herein. SECTION II. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and become effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
