AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$20,000 WITH ALMONT ASSOCIATES FOR A FIRE SERVICE ANALYSIS FOR
THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the City has a need for a professional
fire service analysis; and
WHEREAS, Almont Associates has in its employ persons
experienced in this area of expertise.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to negotiate and execute an agreement with Almont
Associates in an amount not to exceed $20,000 for a
professional fire service analysis.
SECTION 2. Upon agreement by the McCracken County
Fiscal Court, this agreement may be expanded to include County
fire service and the feasibility of City/County emergency
medical services. Additional charges for the amended analysis
shall not exceed $5,000 and shall be paid by the McCracken
County Fiscal Court.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
account No. 01-18-01-258.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
l� separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
