AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-55, CIVIL SERVICE,
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. That Section 10-55 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 10-55. Department Environmental and Engineering Services.
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positions
in the Department of Environmental and Engineering Services, and the salary of
each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive
years of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manag-
er:

(i) Additional $0.20 per hour shift rotation differential to be
paid as long as present rotation mode continues.
(ii) Trainee duration of one year.

SECTION 2. In order to rectify an incorrect salary increase granted
retroactive to June 27, 1994, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance will become effective immediately with one reading.
