ORDINANCE NO. 94-7-
531
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 10-49, 10-51, 10-52, 10-55, 10-58,
10-59, 10-61, 10-62, 10-63, 10-64, AND 10-65 CIVIL SERVICE, OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-49 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 10-49. Department of Finance.
This department shall be under the direction and supervision of
the City Treasurer - Finance Director,
a noncivil service posi-
tion which has heretofore been created
by separate ordinance.
(a) There is hereby created and authorized the following posi-
tions in the Department of Finance, and the salary of each position that
shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of service,
in this position, and upon recommendation of the
City Manager:

(b) The chief of the maintenance division may designate one main-
tenance specialist in his department to act as a lead man or part-time working
foreman to serve in such capacity at the direction of the chief of the mainte-
nance division. The maintenance specialist so designated shall be paid an
additional $1.00 per hour during such times as the maintenance specialist
designated actually serves in such capacity.
SECTION 3. That Section 10-55 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 10-55. Department Environmental and Engineering Services.
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positions
in the Department of Environmental and Engineering Services, and the salary of
each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive
years of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manag-

(b) The Director of Parks & Leisure Services may
designate an employee of the Cemetery Division to serve as Lead
Person at the direction of the Grounds Maintenance Superintendent.
the Lead Person shall be paid an additional $.50 per hour during
such times that the person serves in such capacity.
SECTION 6. That Section 10-61 of the code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 10-61. General Government.
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following positons
in the General Government department of the City of Paducah, and the salary of
each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive
years of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City
Manager:

SECTION 10. These salaries will be retroactive to June 27, 1994.
