AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $97,000 WITH FLORENCE AND
HUTCHESON INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES, PLUS
$38.00 PER HOUR FOR INSPECTION SERVICES, AND GEOTECHNICAL
CHARGES, BOTH TO BE DETERMINED AT A LATER DATE, FOR THE
RENOVATION/RESTORATION OF BOB NOBLE PARK IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the City has a need for planning and
engineering services necessary for renovation/restoration of
Noble Park; and
WHEREAS, Florence and Hutcheson Inc. has in its
employ persons experienced in this area of expertise.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with Florence and Hutcheson
Inc. in the amount of $97,000.00 for professional engineering
services for the renovation/restoration of Bob Noble Park.
There will be an additional charge of $38.00 per hour for
inspection services, to be paid upon approval by the City.
Geotechnical charges will be determined at a later date. This
contract is attached hereto and incorporated by reference as if
fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
account No. 40-88-21-286.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
