AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF UTILITY PIPE SALES,
INC., FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ADJUSTABLE MANHOLE RINGS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Utility Pipe Sales Co., Inc., for the purchase of adjustable
manhole rings to be used for street paving program, at the
following prices, plus freight:

22 1/2" to 24 1/2" 1 1/2" to 2 1/4" 60 $95.63 $5,737.80
22 1/2" to 24 1/2" 1" 40 $88.88 $3,555.20
TOTAL $9,293.00
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifi-
cations and advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid
of Utility Pipe Sales Co., Inc., of June 2, 1994.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Utility Pipe Sales Co., Inc., for sale to the
City of adjustable manhole rings authorized in Section 1 above,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the
MAP Account Numbers 03-22-14-384 and 55-33-02-332.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publication
pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
