ORDINANCE NO. 94-6-,L_4'7
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAHL'S EXCAVATING &
UNDERGROUND INC., FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ITS REQUIREMENT OF
LIMESTONE TO BE USED DURING THE YEAR 1994-95, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
% BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
Wahl's Excavating and Underground, Inc., for sale to the City
of its requirement of limestone to be used in street
construction work for the year 1994-95, said bid being in words
and figures as follows:
"We propose to furnish, sell and deliver to the City
of Paducah (within the city limits) crushed limestone
and riprap in lots of 100 tons or more, as ordered
for the following prices per ton:

"We will start delivery within twenty-four hours
after receiving each order. This is a firm price
and will not be advanced during the fiscal year
1994-95. In the event of a reduction in our market
price, we agree to adjust the price accordingly.
"Material delivered will be according to Kentucky
State Highway specifications for all crushed
limestone. Riprap will also meet Kentucky State
Highway specifications.
"If the contract is awarded to us, we agree to post
a performance bond in the amount of $1,000. We also
agree to conform with all other requirements as set
forth in the request for bids on this material."
Said bid
being in compliance with, and as contained in the bid
of Wahl's
Excavating and Underground, Inc., dated June 2,
1994.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute a
contract with Wahl's Excavating and Underground,
Inc., for
the purchase of limestone as set out in Section 1
above.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said limestone
shall be
charged to MAP Account Numbers 03-22-14-384 and
55-33-02-332.

SECTION 4. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
