AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF E.M. BAILEY
DISTRIBUTING COMPANY FOR PROVIDING THE CITY WITH GASOLINE AND
DIESEL FUEL TO BE DISPENSED FROM COMPUTERIZED DISPENSING
EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of E.M. Bailey Distributing Company for its supply of 89 octane
gasoline and #2 diesel fuel at OPIS (Oil Price Information
Service) price plus $.06 per gallon, and #2 diesel fuel with #1
fuel oil blend at OPIS price plus $.08 per gallon, to be
dispensed from computerized dispensing equipment. Said bid is
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of E.M.
Bailey Distributing Company of January 12, 1994.
SECTION 2.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with E.M.
Bailey Distributing company for the purchase of vehicle fuel as
set out in Section 1 above, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
various account numbers.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
