AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000 WITH
FLORENCE AND HUTCHESON INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING
SERVICES ON A GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) FOR THE CITY
OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the City has a need for planning and
engineering services necessary for implementation of a
Geographic Information System; and
WHEREAS, Florence and Hutcheson Inc. has in its
employ persons experienced in this area of expertise.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement with Florence and Hutcheson
Inc. in an amount not to exceed $40,000 for professional
engineering services on a Geographic Information System (GIS).
This contract is attached hereto and incorporated by reference
as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to
account No. 01-33-09-258.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall be read on two o%
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
