ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE NEW
INTERNATIONAL 4900 SERIES CREW CAB CHASSIS TRUCK WITH GALLON
DUMP BODY FROM NAVISTAR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $47,934.28, FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT, STREET DIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. 000857, and competitive bidding is not
required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah is authorized to
purchase one new International 4900 Series Crew Cab Chassis
Truck with Gallon Dump Body from Navistar International
Corporation in the amount of $47,934.28, for use by the
Public Works Department, Street Division.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
contract with Navistar International Corporation for the
purchase of one new International truck, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications and all
contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
% Account No. 01-22-02-442.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
