AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SECTION 2-47(B), NONCIVIL
SERVICE, DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING
SERVICES
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section
2-47(b), Noncivil
Service,
Department of Environmental and
Engineering Services
is hereby
amended to read as follows:
(b) There is hereby
created and authorized the
following positions in the Department of Environmental and
Engineering Services, the monthly
or hourly rate of
compensation of the following noncivil service employees of the
City of Paducah shall be the amount set opposite the
designation of such employment,
upon satisfactory completion of
consecutive years of service in
this position, and upon
recommendation of the City Manager:

SECTION 2. These salaries will be retroactive to August
9, 1993.
SECTION 3. In order to implement this ordinance on the
same date as previously adopted payroll ord nances, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinanc will become effective
with one reading.
