AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MEEKS ELECTRICAL,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $505.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED ON NORTH 7TH STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED FOR SAME
WHEREAS, the City does not have any use at this time
or in the future for said property, which constitutes surplus
real estate.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The sale to Meeks Electrical, Inc. of
real property located on North 7th Street is hereby approved
for the sum of $505.00.
SECTION 2. The Corporation Counsel is hereby
authorized to prepare a deed for the above-described real
property, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed
and any other documents necessary for the sale of said
property.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
