AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $259,850.00 WITH MIDSTATES
CONSTRUCTION INC., FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A DAY CARE CENTER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract in the amount of $259,850.00 with Midstates
Construction Inc. for construction of a Day Care Center. A
state grant will provide $239,850.00 of these funds and
$20,000.00 will be provided by the Paducah Day Nursery.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No.
SECTION 4. In order not to further delay
construction of this project, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance will become effective immediately
with one reading.
