AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE KENTUCKY
HOUSING CORPORATION FOR A MATCHING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$17,200 FROM THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TRUST FUND
WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement dated

February 28, 1994, for a matching grant from the Affordable
Housing Trust Fund; and
WHEREAS, as required by law, the aforesaid agreement
must be ratified and approved by ordinance.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah hereby ratifies and approves the execution of an
agreement dated February 28, 1994, between the City and the
Kentucky Housing Corporation for a grant in the amount of
$17,200.00, with matching City funds, from the Affordable
Housing Trust Fund. A copy of this agreement is attached
hereto and incorporated by reference as if fully set out
herein.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to KRS 83A.080, the City
Commission suspends the requirement of a second reading of this
ordinance. As grounds therefor, the City Commission does
hereby declare an emergency to exist as to the execution of the
agreement. Specifically, any delay in the execution of the
aforesaid agreement could adversely impact the City's receipt
of a grant from the Kentucky Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
