ORDINANCE NO. 94-3- 5d 8-31,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 10-52 AND 10-55, CIVIL
SERVICE, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-52 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Sec. 10-52. Public Works Department
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the follow-
ing positions in the Public Works Department, and the salaries of
each position that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of
consecutive years of service, in this position, and upon recommen-
dation of the City Manager:

(b) The chief of the maintenance division may desig-
nate one maintenance specialist in his department to act as a
lead man or part-time working foreman to serve in such capacity
at the direction of the chief of the maintenance division. The
maintenance specialist so designated shall be paid an addi-
tional $1.00 per hour during such times as the maintenance
specialist designated actually serves in such capacity.
SECTION 2. That Section 10-55 of the Code of Ordi-
nances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Sec. 10-55. Department Environmental and Engineer-
ing Services.
-�� (a) There is hereby authorized and created the
following positions in the Department of Environmental and
Engineering Services, and the salary of each position that
shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years
of service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the
City Manager:

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate
days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant
to KRS Chapter 424.
