AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE 1994
CHEVROLET 3/4 TON 4 -WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP TRUCK FROM JACK MAXTON
CHEVROLET IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $17,000.00 FOR USE BY THE
PARKS AND LEISURE SERVICES DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE CONTRACT FOR SAME
WHEREAS, this equipment is available under State
Contract No. R-0015066, and competitive bidding is not
required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to
purchase one 1994 Chevrolet 4 -wheel drive pickup truck in an
amount not to exceed $17,000.00 from Jack Maxton Chevrolet, for
use by the Parks and Leisure Services Department, said purchase
being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications as
authorized by the Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a
contract with Jack Maxton Chevrolet for the purchase of one
pickup truck, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications and all contract documents heretofore approved.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 01-24-02-440.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
