AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN
ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND McCRACKEN COUNTY, KENTUCKY, FOR ENCROACHMENTS UPON CITY
RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, McCracken County is the owner of certain
real property located at 400 South 7th Street; and
WHEREAS, McCracken County has requested from the City
of Paducah permission to use a portion of City right-of-way for
locating a sewage grinder pump station along the northerly
right of way of Adams Street, which encroachment is insignifi-
cant in nature.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter
into an Encroachment Agreement with McCracken County for the
location of a sewage grinder pump station on City right of way
along the northerly right of way of Adams Street adjacent to
the McCracken Regional Jail, located at 400 South 7th Street.
This encroachment area shall be 100 square feet.
SECTION 2. Said Agreement is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
