AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN WESTERN BAPTIST HOSPITAL AND THE
CITY OF PADUCAH REGARDING EXPANSION OF WESTERN BAPTIST HOSPITAL
FACILITIES
WHEREAS, Western Baptist Hospital desires to expand
its hospital facilities presently located in the City of
Paducah; and
WHEREAS, to effectuate said expansion, it will be
necessary to relocate a portion of Kentucky Avenue along with
the various utilities which presently exist along or near that
portion of Kentucky Avenue which is to be relocated; and
WHEREAS, Western Baptist Hospital has requested that
the City assist them in the relocation of Kentucky Avenue and
the utilities which are affected thereby; and
WHEREAS, the City is agreeable to providing such
assistance, subject to the terms and provisions of the attached
agreement.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Agreement with Western Baptist Hospital
regarding expansion of Western Baptist Hospital Facilities.
This Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated by reference
as if fully set out herein.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
