AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10-52, CIVIL SERVICE,
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 10-52 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 10-52. Public Works Department
(a) There is hereby authorized and created the following posi-
tions in the Public Works Department, and the salaries of each position
that shall be paid upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of
service, in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manager:

(b) The chief of the maintenance division may designate one main-
tenance specialist in his.department to act as a lead man or part-time working
foreman to serve in such capacity at the direction of the chief of the mainte-
nance division. The maintenance specialist so designated shall be paid an
additional $1.00 per hour during such times as the maintenance specialist
designated actually serves in such capacity.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective June 29, 1994.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to RRS Chapter 424.
