AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-47 (A) AND (C), NONCIVIL SERVICE
GENERALLY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That sub -section (a) of Section 2-47, Noncivil Service
Employees, Generally, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, is hereby abolished and recreated to read as follows:
"Section 2-47. Noncivil service employees generally.
(a) There is hereby created and authorized the following positions
in the Department of Community Planning and Development, the monthly or
hourly rate of compensation of the following noncivil service employees of
the City of Paducah shall be the amount set opposite the designation of
such employment, upon satisfactory completion of consecutive years of
service in this position, and upon recommendation of the City Manager:

SECTION 2. In Section 2-47(a), the position of Grants Administrator
will become effective July 1, 1994; the creation of the position of
Administrative Secretary and the deletion of the position of Secretary will
become effective July 11, 1994. In Section 2-47(c), the creation of the
position of Information Systems Manager and the deletion of the position of Data
Processing Specialist will be retroactive to June 27, 1994.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will be published pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
