AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 90-7-4471,
TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF POLYMER NO. 93LP047 FROM NALCO
CHEMICAL COMPANY, FOR USE AT THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah authorized the
purchase of polymers from Allied Colloids Inc. and Betz
Industrial by Ordinance No. 90-7-4471, adopted on July 24,
"u 1990; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 90-7-4471 was amended on
October 23, 1990, January 8, 1991, August 13, 1991, and
September 1, 1992 (by Ordinance No. 92-9-4833) to authorize
additional purchases and change vendors; and
WHEREAS, it is again necessary to amend this
ordinance to authorize additional purchases.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. Section 1 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay
the sum ofX,lBf/��`/Ibs6Yi�i�/X��`/�d�Xdi�`/��,!/y8y�/Zt�i91/i�X,IBS
rill/7XgZ�/�ria1/X128 $1.27 per pound for polymer no. 7122
93LP047 from Nalco Chemical Company;
gS�X/rill/79/X��i/Xuts�ai/Ks��b�/Xri¢l� for the
purchase of polymerO for use at the wastewater treatment
plant."
SECTION 2. Account No. 55-33-03-354 shall be
charged with the aforesaid expenditures.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
