AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,749.05
WITH WAHL'S EXCAVATING, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BELL OAK
DRIVE
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 93-95-5014, adopted
September 21, 1993, the City entered into a contract in the
amount of $32,889.00 with Wahl's Excavating, Inc. for the
construction of Bell Oak Drive; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$4,749.05 is required for additional materials and labor
required to complete this project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$4,749.05 with Wahl's Excavating, Inc. for additional
materials and labor required to complete construction of
Bell Oak Drive. This Change Order is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference as if set out in full herein.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Wahl's Excavating, Inc. is amended to $37,638.05.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 03-22-14-464.
SECTION 3. This ordinance will be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS
