ORDINANCE NO. 94-6- 130
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF B.H. GREEN & SON
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $98,211.00 FOR THE DEMOLITION OF OLD
AND CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ENTRANCE GATES TO NOBLE PARK, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of
B.H. Green & Son Inc. in the amount of $98,211.00 for the
demolition of old and construction of new entrance gates to
Noble Park, located at Park Avenue and Joe Clifton Drive, said
bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifica-
tions, bid proposal, and as contained in the bid of B.H. Green
& Son Inc. dated May 10, 1994.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with B.H. Green & Son Inc. for the demolition and
construction authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents
heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 40-88-21-258.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
